Lonavala Region
Lonavala Region
This region is the area around

is at a height of 650m and the average height of the plateau is about 500m.
Hence not much climbing is required to scale peaks even 1000m high. Many
of the slopes here are gentle. The country is very beautiful with many
hills and lakes (esp. south of Lonavala). Lonavala is about 130km from

of Khandala at the edge of the ghat.
